I was amazed that it's even possible to grow peanuts in the UK. Might try it next year.

I am sure you could grow them. Whether they would ripen is a different matter and I suspect highly weather dependent. (Watch out for badgers who love them and will not be stopped by mesh.)

Our badgers are too busy eating my carrots to notice any groundnuts.
 
I eat so much honey I think I should have a label saying 'my nuts may contain honey! '
