My wood pile is full of queen wasps. Everytime I bring a load of logs in the kitchen is filled with the bl**dy things!

Several sharp frosts over the last week. No bee activity at last! Still the occasional wasp. Have they mutated into all-weather wasps? Never ever seen so many as this last 3 months, and they wiped out one of my hives in November.
