Do not forget to keep the receipt... Lidl will not exchange when faulty if you do not have it!!forgot to mention it - they were there Christmas eve
Are they good?Took a drive up to Aber and bought one. The thermostat on my old one is temperamental after all these years.

It comes with a trivetStick a couple of blocks of wood between bottom and bucket so no direct contact, do it before you add the water
Lol my koshstar didn’t and it was rather morehandy for odd bucketsIt comes with a trivet
I was just about to say...looks like a Kochstar wax melter that Thorne's sell for about £300. Is it the same do you know Dani? @ErichalfbeeLol my koshstar didn’t and it was rather morehandy for odd buckets
Thanks yes that's Lidl's own brand. It does look v similar to a Kochstar and looking at the spec, spookily the same, suspect it's the same and branded for Lidl. You could melt large quantities of wax over water in it (would need to ladle off, leaving sediment below). Could also have a stainless steel lid made to fit with a hole that you could put a candle dipping tube in. An absolute bargain at £50!It says Silverline on it
Edit
Sorry Silvercrest
I warm my honey buckets in our Neff fan oven - its lowest setting is 40 deg C which is perfect. Also useful for clarifying honey already in jars and dealing with fermenting OSR honey. 50 deg works well for that.It takes a 30lb bucket of honey and melts it gently overnight. It will take 16 jars which you can do in a matter of hours. So much less bother than the honey warmer for a small amount. You can also use it to sterilise bottled fruit which I think is what it’s for.
I have one that I bought over ten years ago but the thermostat is getting temperamental and I was looking out for a replacement
See 2 above, CC have bought one today...Anyone know if they are still available today, Thursday?
