Thornes print labels with individual consecutive numbers as lot information. They also suggested about five years best before so you can use the labels up before it's critical

So does my label printer. My last lot were 1-1000 with the same BBE date. That gives me my lot number and I record the batches I bottle up with the honey used so I don't have to try and keep track of where each individual jar goes.

Saw honey for sale in supermarket from littleover apiaries. No address, just an email.

Can we get away with that?

Forget that. I've just put littleover apiaries into Google and it gives the address.

I believe the regs say the customer must be able to find you from the information provided and so that should allow a website PROVIDED you have all your contact details there.

So a 'best before it granulates label'.

Or as many of my new customers discover: "Best before the rest pf the family discover how delicious it is".
