Just when you think its going great.....
You may recall the trouble I had with one of my hives and the queen getting mated. Well the girls decided that the queen in the hive from May of this year isnt good enough. Did an inspection a week ago found some supercedure cells. I removed them gave them to a fellow beek. Well they must have hidden one from me. Went into hive today and there was a hatched queen cell. No eggs in the hive and no marked queen. So its a case of here we go again lets hope this queen gets a good seeing to when she goes out to mate lol.
They havnt touched the super i put on but seem to be filling the brood box up.
