After you have spent hours tending your hives,
Made all the kit
Collected the swarms
Fought off the wasps
Collected and carried the honey home,
Extracted it
Filtered it
Put it in jars
Cleaned up all the mess
Along with all the other bee related jobs we do

You may have burned more calories getting the dam stuff on your plate than the ones you are eating.....
:iagree: and now I can tell my other half that cleaning up the mess is good for her as part of her diet
 
I didnt know so many on this forum were weight conscious !! Thanks for all the useful info. Trouble is I love my porridge in the morning and usually have two dessertspoons full of honey on it, lovely !
 
Ah sorry, VM - yes, but they don't seem to put anything on them, they dunk them commando, and usually in black tea, in my experience
 
The creme de la creme in Normandy dunk in coffee , the experts dunk will jam without making a great mess :smilielol5:
