What would members say is the minimum temperature that is ok to inspect a frame of bees ?

When I am not cold!:toetap05:

It depends on how long you take to inspect, and how many / location of frames you disturb.

For me, for the first inspection I would say a bright sunny day 8 - 10 deg C

But for inspections going forward for the rest of the season 10 +

looked at mine today :), no wind 4C bees flying . Inspected bees plus a 3 nuc brood box, gave all extra fondant. Didn't lift out any of the nuc frames but all three compartments bursting with bees. main hives have had inserts inserted for 3 weeks now; checked for natural mite drop, all found to be clear :):).
