I have two queenless colonies and only have two colonies to my name. I simply cannot find them. I see no eggs etc. what will the colony do now ? Are they doomed ? It's been a tough first summer.
Give us more info. When did you last see eggs? What is state of brood. Rare for a hive to end up hopelessly queen less. As suggested you could try a test frame (you may need to beg some grubs from a friend) .
Patience.
It has just taken nearly 6 weeks in one of my colonies for queen to come into lay. Just hope she is not a drone layer!
