Yet another newbee question :p

Does a Plastic honey tank do the same job as a stainless steel ripener ? Seems pointless to spend an extra £100 + if they do ?
As usual many thanks for answers :)

A Honey 'ripener' is basically a settling tank, where all the air bubbles can rise to the surface.
Some have a filter you can pour it through on its way in, so it gets filtered and then cleared.

If yours is already filtered and your tank has a tap on the bottom, then yes it does do the same.
