hello im looking for a honey extractor it may be a bit early days but
trying to gt al the kit I may need has anyone got one for sale? cheers ken:serenade:

My first extractor was a four frame tangential from Thornes. I've just looked it up and I can't believe its £224 ! I bought one in their sale for half that price.
I bought a Giordan drill driven 8 frame radial, after recommendations on the forum, maybe five years ago.
The Giordan will spin 14x12 brood frames which is a great advantage.
I have kept the hand crank to deal with just the odd super.....I never even got the larger one out last year :(

REDWOOD is right.....don't get anything galvanised. Have a look at the usual suspects, they may be doing something at all the shows coming up....Beetradex would be my first port of call.

Wait for the spring Association Auctions. Just be critical about what's on offer and set yourself a firm limit.
