Yep, all on the same page there. I'd remain interested in the wasp
problem as there has to be another answer over stuffing up air
flows around the box(s).

All i can say is i do not understand you much but the bees are doing fine on my own made floors..infact just the same as if i bought them..they are making honey and doing what bees do just fine..
So i can not see any reasoning in any doubt about the floors i make for myself that are doing very well for the bees..
