Does anyone know what the small brown cylindical pellets are on the varroa board? Corresponds with the centre of the hive. I thought uncappings from brood? Or evidence of wax moth

I haven't got any really big ones then, no licquorice. But looks like it could be wax moth. Not mice poo, for sure, know what that looks like!
What should I do? Open up the hive and remove?

the licquorice comment was TIC. presume you have 1 or more big buggers.

No...I was just checking the mite drop, that will give me an indication re oxalic treatment later in the winter.
It is going to be very mild the next few days, I was thinking it would be ok to open up and deal with it now. Any advice whether that is a good idea gratefully received. Or is it ok to leave until Spring. Is a certain amount of damage by wax moth acceptable?

When you get your Oxallic Vaporizatin done I expect the wax moth will be assassinated at the same time... TOO LATE NOW to go tearing hives apart!

IMO... not that it is worth much !
