Hello. I am totally new to beekeeping. I've read lots (!) and will have my hive set up for next year. Looking forward to receiving lots of good advise.

best advice i could give atm would be to join your local association.

they will probably have a mentoring scheme and you will probably get bees cheaper from a member.
most have meetings over winter and they can be very helpful .
