Hello there
New to beekeeping so reading lots of books and u tube is good. Got a Warre hive off Ebay last June and put it out. Small swarm came end of July so fed them liquid feed. Over wintered fine and giving them fondant at the moment as it's so wet. Hopefully we will have a good spring/summer.

utube can be useful but do steer clear of farcebook .

A very good and warm welcome to you ,:):)enjoy the forum there are many experienced beekeepers on this platform with a wealth of practical knowledge that you possibly will not get from reading books ,but a good book to get is the Haynes Manual book of bees ,ideal for a beekeeper to start off with .You tube channels are fine ,but stick with the UK orientated ones as this will be more relevant. Never worry about asking what you may consider too simple ,as we have all been there .Take the time using the search function to look for older posts and the stickies ,wealth of info there .
Wishing you all the best
John
