Hi.
I'm a new member to the forum but have been keeping bees for a couple of years. I use horizontal Top Bar Hives.
Sadly lost a colony this winter. It was a cut-out that I took from an old derelict cottage in September 2013. Wrong time of year I know but the building was about to be renovated and it was a case of either take them or the owner was going to poison them.
Sadly not enough stores to make it through even though I fed them.
So I'm looking for replacement bees for that particular hive! Have some bait hives out in various places. Anyone near to me (Dorset) who has any bees spare or who hears of a swarm that they don't want themselves, I'd be grateful!
Looking forward to being part of the community here!
Thanks!
Regards,
H1veHead.
