Hello one and all,my names pete from middlesbrough , I've been beekeeping for 3 years. My interest in bees started a long time ago when I was young. We lived on a farm and my dad used to let a beekeeper use an area on one of the fields . I used to watch from afar wondering what it was all about and never got the nerve up to talk to him. I always regret that now.
I've had an allotment for a number of years and a local group were running an intro to beekeeping course. I enjoyed it the signed up for a 10wk course straight after, and never looked back.
I have 4 hives running this year,two shared.
