Hi & welcome,

Try Abertillery Allotments, we (Gwent BKA) supplied them with 3 hives under the Forgotten Landscapes Project funded by Torfaen CBC/WG/EU et al.
We have several members in L Hill, Blaenavon, a few sprinkled along the Heads and a shed load down the Gorge, so plenty of BK's not to far from you.

Are you doing the Cardiff course?

If you have the time and can make it to Goytre VH next Thurs 14th 7.30pm, Nicola Bradbear - Bees for Developement- is giving us a talk, bring a £1 just in case someone remembers to charge for tea & cake.

Need a safe area fenced from sheep cattle and badgers. Let them get the morning sun to get them flying early, shelter from cold winds, off the ground with legs on slabs so moles don't turn them on their sides. Easy to get to as full supers are heavy, near clean water source, I am sure others will come up with more!!
