While weeding in the strawberry bed, found a female grass snake stuck in my green plastic netting. I managed to get it out without too much difficulty, the net was caught on a large bulbous area about 12 inches from the head. When I lifted it up by the tail a large toad fell out. (the bulbous lump). I measured the snake at 2foot 11 inches. I let it go in another part of the garden.

Should have photographed it.

Dare I ask what state the toad was in?
