Windy innit?
We have an oak and a beech down across the garden and along a now demolished fence and I am nervously watching some very tall pines at the bottom. We have some very tall trees very near the house. I feel I should be sitting in the middle of the house away from the windows.
It's lashing with rain.
The hens have all taken to their beds.
My husband is out on the lawn watching the swaying trees like some cat mesmerised by a bird feeder full of chattering sparrows!
Hives all strapped down permanently even though they are somewhat sheltered behind a very thick hedge in the field. Just as well!

Gales? I thought this thread was going to be about honey...
