Just been told fondant has gone up from £11 a pack to £16-75 from Oct 1st.. The supplier to the bakery is Bako.

Ouch.

With that in mind I have enough invert for two years but my storage needs to be much smaller. I'd have bought more if Stan hadn't been on my case so much!

Bookers put a block on my sugar transaction this week. The manager had to press a few buttons on his computer to release it.
I'm trying to stockpile enough to last me through next season. By then I'll know whether it's worthwhile staying in the industry.
