For the last two days the air where I live has ben filled with what looks like chopped up cushion filling...
A bit on the radio has listeners saying that its from the black poplar tree.

Odd that we've lived here for 35 years and never seen it before.
 
Paths have been pink 'snow' over the last week - treacherous when soaked. Now they are just like a smattering of normal snow and it was like a gentle snowfall all across the garden earlier in the pm.

Trees have likely matured over 35 years!

That would tie up with slightly less than how old this estate is and I think that many of the trees were planted and not aleady here before the houses.
