First attempt at queen rearing

They are simple enough to make. I could use my honey warmer for the job by adjusting the temp and making sure there was a water source with a rag as a wick as the humidity needs to be around the 80% mark.

Not intending to hijack this post but quick related question....What incubators are you guys using?

Have just returned one I had as it was playing up...so looking to get another.

I use a small egg incubator from Banbury incubators. you dont need a huge thing really, i can easily get 100 cells in this one. Just remove the internal workings that turn the eggs. dead easy.

thanks for ideas guys, have a damaged egg incubator lying in shed so may attempt to convert. Had the Exo Terra but it went moody after a week so was sent back
