Hi everyone, bee-smillie

I hope you’re all doing well. My name is Brandon, and I’m a honey enthusiast living in Belgium. Like many of you, I’m passionate about honey and the important role you beekeepers play in our environment.

Lately, I’ve been trying to find honey produced closer to my neighborhood, but it’s surprisingly hard to track down local sources. That got me thinking about how much easier it could be if there was a tool where local beekeepers could list themselves, just so people could easily find you, your honey or enlist your services—whether it’s in a nearby village or even in the same town.

I’ve been building an online tool where beekeepers and artisanal honey producers can list themselves for free (no strings attached!), with the simple goal of making it easier for local communities to connect with REAL local honey, or find beekeeping services, all in one place. There’s no cost or hidden agenda—just a way to get your honey into the hands of those like me who are looking for it nearby. :p

If you’re interested, please do let me know if this is something you’d be interested is using as a means of being discovered by those around you. I’ve tried to get in touch with beekeeping associations but most emails I’ve been writing to are no longer in service. So here I am, writing directly to you. Your feedback would be IMMENSELY appreciated.

Thanks for your time, and I do look forward to connecting with you!

Best regards,
Brandon

To be honest I could sell my honey ten times over so I don't think I would get any benefit. But it is a good idea for those who are off the beaten track. Good luck and thanks for posting

There are already Facebook groups with just what you describe. People can look for honey local to them.
