Just bought a USB desktop fan for my warming cabinet, its ideal for keeping the temperature constant with no hot or cold spots. It can easily be rewired to an old mobile phone charger with at leased 0.55 amps which will give you enough power for it to run.

Them little 12v fans that go inside computers are handy for circulating air, they are also used in forced air incubators to evenly distribute the warm air around the eggs.

I have a warming cabinet, where I cam warm up 200 kg full honey frames. It is 3-4 hours job to uncap, extract and sieve the honey.


I worked 30 years with 2000 W thermo fan, but there is a danger that it makes a fire, ... like it has done in some cases.


Now I have an oil filled radiator with thermostat and a cool air fan. The cost together 45 €.


I heat the bottom of extractor with this when I extract

This kind heats the cabinet 800 W , 25 euros

And a stong fan. A Computer fan does not push the air into the seams of frames . 20 euros.
