Drone brood

One of my hives had a drone layer and I re-queened it. Question is do I need to do anything with the drone brood. My thinking is that when they hatch they will be a strain on the bees.

I removed four frames of drone brood the other day from a drone layer and regretted not taking more out. Bee ruthless.
