no body in Leicestershire eats marmite:icon_204-2:

I spread peanut butter on toast, then the Marmite on top of that, and with chilli sauce drizzled over it. Food of Gods!! :D

Got wabbies buzzing around in general but so far they are not bothering the hives.

yes around my hive dismembering them and carrying bits away, just one as far as I know but that is how it started last year at my woodland site, I am moving from there this year

Sycamore in flower???
Ours was over a month ago and most got smashed by frost and northerlies
This is the worst start to a season i have had
Finding a lot of v. irritable colonies now too with dozens of follwers hanging on for ages.
Hardly any honey being laid down
Fingers crossed for some decent temps

Our sycamores are in full flower now too, as well as horse chestnut, & hawthorn going well with quite a bit yet to open.

Are you sure you are not confusing the developing sycamore seed heads with its flowers, which are tiny and have long gone in most parts of the country?
If you are not...then i am envious!
