Thats obviously a bit of correx not acrylic
 
It is an acrylic sheet heater. Works by putting the sheet over a heated slot. you can then bend to whatever angle you want.
Also made menu holders for restaurant tables, book display stands, models etc. Very versatile and easy to use.

I NEED one of those ...the possibilities are endless ....

Right got you now. Well not having the kit to play with plastic sheets I'll just use my spare bits of sticks. ;)

Where do you pick up your acrylic sheets ... I make clear crown boards from scrap shower screens I pick up at the recycling site but these are getting harder to find as they all seem to be toughened glass these days ... I've bought offcuts on ebay but they tend to be the smaller bits that the acrylic workshops can't use ...

I buy full sheets from Hallam polymers in Chesterfield. Not cheap though.
