Cutting Cut Comb - What Do You Use?

I suppose so but I presumed it was sharp out of the box.

I’ve used one of these before. Place it in the hot water, and use it to mark the cut lines on the capping. Then use your hot knives to do the cutting.

Same here, and it's never 100%. I mean to try foundation wire: attach it to a U-shaped handle cut from ply and connected to a wire embedding gizmo: hot wire, thin and rapid cut.

I have knives inherited from my grandmother. When we go away and we have house sitters I hide them

I've a set of wooden handled victorinox butchers knives that were inherited from a relative that I feel exactly the same way about.

This is exactly what I use, but it's been sharpend within an inch of its life as otherwise as mentioned, can crush the comb.
I've a very cheap, but wickedly sharp knife bought from IKEA that is used for chunk sections.

Dirt cheap adjustable depth of cut, razor sharp and a load of spare blades. Used three - two in hot water and one in use. Can't get them mail order but may be able to help out
