Resistance has been a problem for about 6 years and documented in more than a dozen species of insect. Nearly all of these cases have been produced primarily by selection in the laboratory, but one pest, the diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella), has evolved resistance in open-field populations.

I hadn't realised it was quite that bad. Now you mention the diamondback moth that seems vaguely familiar as the one I had heard of. It does feel like care over use of products based on the bacterium is required as it's a useful organic control for some caterpillars, in the open at least.

Just an update to say I span out all the frames and they were all 100%. we have a radial extrator and I just did it as normal, but with a wee bit of a slower start. I will store them wet, we do that for all our supers, we store them in the garage/workshop and wrap each super in packaging film to keep out sawdust.
Thanks for the help!
