There is a copy of Constructive beekeeping by Norman Chapman going on ebay today, it's actually selling about the same as it can be ordered new from the author (crazy people).

I just wondered if anyone was familiar with the book and had any comments to its usefulness?

I got one. Informative and useful for the DIY beekeeper, but very poorly written. I can't say that I have incorporated a single element of what's in the book into my own beekeeping, but if you are maybe retired and have the time to invest in projects like casting your own foundation, converting a spin drier into a cappings spinner, casting a block of wax for show purposes, making a solar wax extractor, etc. the book will no doubt come in handy.

Not got the book but done all of the above projects. Successfully I might add...lol
