Some of the reports include that the Coop as part of the deal are taking a clone of the Lloyds account management software. The intention is to move Coop customers onto that too eventually. Presumably they are aware their current offering is below par and this is their way of upgrading on the cheap. Can't say I've seen the existing Coop version but the Lloyds version is usable and does OK in comparative surveys.We have closed Co-op accounts as the internet banking is a disaster.
RBS/Ulster bank is probably the one to avoid if you are wary of software trouble.
