White clothing stands out remarkably against a green background and as such, I see it as a significant security risk. I wear a sage suit and others will be dyed to tone them down.

ZNG, if you make a habit of examining colonies without a veil, you will ultimately regret it. Maybe just the once but you will certainly regret it - not 'if' but 'when'.

Bees can be on you in an instant. They can fly much quicker than you can run and they will find your weakest spot (possibly your eyes).
