Cleaning leather gloves

I threw mine away as they were hell to keep clean and supple. Once full of stings the attack pheremone seems to stay on them. Bought quality washing up gloves from Sainsburys for about £3.00 a pair not the thin and cheaper Marigolds.
They are very good and washable.

Fire works well and you can replace with disposable nitriles or marigolds

Washing soda solution, wear the gloves and wash as if washing your hands. Allow them to dry and apply neatsfoot oil.

I am bad enough squashing the odd bee wearing nitriles let alone those leather welding type gauntlets..

Mine were so bad i was going to chuck them but thought try washing machine thered no loss. I was surprised that they came out better not perfect but dried faitly supple. They are now my back up pair. As im a hairdresser the gloves used for colouring hair are super. Fit like skin, thin but super tough and have long cuffs.

Bin them and buy from Th****s in the sale at a £5 a pair................
