How long is a piece of string
As i know theres a few woodworkers here,have any of you had any experience using a chainsaw small mill.I have seen a few types but never
thought of using my chainsaw for ripping planks before.
Are they any good ?

I was thinking along the lines of the small mill rather than the mini.

I have seen them being used and they make a LOT of saw dust as well. Probably best to give hivemaker a pm.

I've used a Alaskan chainsaw mill with a 36 inch bar on. It's pretty good. Hard work sometimes pushing it along mind!

Most things to do with chainsaws are hard work lol use them with my job.
 
They do look good,but too much £ for what i had in mind.I am only looking at
a mini or small mill that will not break the bank as it will not get lots of use i would of thought.
