CBPV over Autumn/Winter

New to beekeeping and in need of advice as I have CBPV:

I've read In previous posts about taking the floor away could help but with the weather and the few wasps lurking around would that be a good idea or? The hive is still a strong colony, not too many bees are out dying yet but I can see the number increasing soon sadly.

Any help would be appreciated.

wasps aren't going to be an issue at this time of year and weather, well,nwe have weather all year here, just put the brood box on an empty shallow and they'll be fine. But to be honest, with signs of CBPV at this time of year, I'd just leave them to it, they'll either survive the winter or not, nothing you can do.

Ah. I said about the same in the other thread.
Queen won’t be laying fast enough to replace the sick bees. This colony is likely a goner

I’ve had great success using what I call my funnel floor. This allows dead and dying bees to fall from the brood box but can still be defended by guards.

CAUTION!!!! Don’t leave this on for too long during a flow as you can end up with extended combs from the bottom of the frames. I can tell you from experience this is a pain to deal with.
