Yes, they're really good. Have had one for some time, foxes, badgers, bats, and even a heifer!

Out of interest as the prices vary so much, which camera did you buy?
I've looked at some from flyonthewall at around £150. I'd like to buy one for hubby (me actually ;) ) for Christmas......Can I say that before the half year is up :)

Mine is the 'ProStalk Nature Camera' and it's been totally reliable. With alkaline batteries (4xD) it lasts a month. We never knew we had foxes and badgers until we got it! Pigeons are the worst aggravation, they keep setting it off during the day. Otherwise great.

 :mad:Only thing is . . . I imagine if any blighter broke in to nick the hives they'd probably take the camera as well if they had any sense.

I had a Ltl Acorn. It took 8 batteries and they lasted up to 5 or 6 months (depending upon activity, settings etc). Some bugger stole it from a tree in our garden!

It's in today's Westmorland Gazette but not on the website.
