Hi everyone,
The marking of one of my virgin queens went wrong, when I applied the pen on her, too much paint came out at once, I have attached a picture, it looks like she's got a little bit on one of her eyes, do you think she'll be able to fly and mate? [emoji20]

Don't worry, it should be ok, however I never mark a virgin, I wait until she is mated just in case. I always think it might harm her chances when flying!

So true Enrico, that's the conclusion I came too as well after attempting to mark another one, from now I will just wait until they mate, thx for your answer

Sorry I couldn't help but laugh: D I confess at messing up first Queen of this year but it wasn't as bad!

Mine sometimes look like they have been in a nasty accident when I'm using red marker

not as bad as my kitchen and the constant nagging I now get from SWMBO where I shook a red marker pen in the kitchen last weekend, with the cap off!!!!

I then wondered what these little red spots are everywhere on floor, ceiling, walls, cooker, fridge, walls!
