Lesson is buy plastic lids do not sterilise lids and do not be clumsy with honey on the top of jars! Have bought a jam funnel as a starter for 10. I know it is not mould as I have had an issue with jam and jellies. Cheers everyone

Boss was complaining this week that his cup of tea tasted of salt. Even after rinsing his cup.
I suggested it was because he was reusing his cup a'la the recent jam/honey jar discussion, and that he ought to use a new cup for every fill up. lol

Can't understand why you would reuse a jar and lid to sell . It's not good practice.
