and very few hives with bees, went above £100!

Some said a bargain, for just the brood boxes, supers, roof, omf, strap and frames! (without the bees!) for £100!

(the last lot really struggled to reach £96 -ish, most returned to the auction room!)

Empty WBC hives in the Auction Room without Bees, went for more than £100!

and I think MAQS strips sold for more than T****s sell them! (those that were in date!), and an electric uncapping knife for £40+, and 3 frame new stainless tang. extractor £100, and I think a 9 frame thornes radial (plastic) for £100.

So, some bargains were to be had, somewhere..

Interesting day compared to last years Bee prices!

(as for me my cheque book stayed firmly in my pocket!)

Went to West Sussex Auction on Sat

2nd hand honey buckets selling for more than Paynes were selling new ones in the hall!!

Lots of Commercial brood boxes and WBC inner boxes

Anyone going to Meon Valley Auction next week?
