Beeswax price

Anyone know roughly what the current wholesale price per kg beeswax is?

Amazon prices seem to vary between around £55 for organic to £16 for Chinese.

Yes ... I was there ... I was surprised at the prices some fairly manky wax was going for .. quite a lot of people bidding for it - Candle makers I assume ?

I think I may be hesitant to base any of my purchasing on the auction prices based on that.

It certainly looks like an awful lot more than you'd get taking wax in for exchange at Thorne, say.

you can never base your prices at what wax goes at auctions such as those, Gwenyn Gruffudd gives a reasonable price for clean wax as they make/sell a lot of candles, I have a hundredweight or so of clean wax I need to shift, it's just bothering my arse to drive down to bandit country to do the deal with Angharad
