Im wondering about having some bees at home in a bee house. Ive seen this abroad and on the internet. Seems like an interesting way to keep bees. Has anyone got any ideas comments about this way to keep bees?

if you have a Beecraft subscription you could google Michael Badger beehouse. There was a article about his beehouse that can be viewed on line if you have a current subscription.

i have a bee shed. it holds 12 hives and i have found it to be very good. hives seem to build up a little slower in there than outside. i think that is because there is no sun hitting them. ive only compared for one full spring tho so it could have been a freak thing.
i store kit in the back a 3ft walkway then athen a row of hives then a 3ft overhang over the hives.
it certainly helps with damp and weathering on hives tho.
i made it with an old galvanised shed roof and forestry logs.
