Tried to register for that, but waiting all day long already for the activation Email. Did someone get it to work yet?
The activation email was sent to me automagically and almost instantly.
Check your spam folder?
I agree with Itma. I had a look around it the other night and was very disappointed. It was hyped up to be this wonderful resource and I just came away feeling what a waste. The activation email was sent to me automagically and almost instantly.

But having looked around a bit. I'm not really not sure what the point is.
I think its basically a checklist for you to tick off.
Plus a few PDFs and links.
And a facility for posting (public) "notes". These don't appear to be moderated as such. But wiki-like, it looks as though anyone can edit (or even delete) anyone else's notes … hmmmm.
And it looks as though someone has spent more time developing the 'look' of the thing rather than creating content.
It doesn't appear to be related to the BBKA's exam and assessment schemes.
Like I said, I'm not really not sure what the point is.

It's designed to be a self-assessment thingy, with the preparatory material being available through some of the links to additional learning resources, including APHA (DEFRA) advisories, videos and other stuff. These resources seem to be quite useful.
As it's only a glorifed tick list, there is nothing to stop anybody working through all the subject indices and annotating competency. Requires total honesty and some knowledge of the competence requirement.
I don't know how the 'validation' process is designed to work. This must surely imply some means of external verification. Hey, - get those that have self-certified total competence to validate those that have not!
