Is that a wren's nest ? I had one a couple of years ago that made a nest in an upturned planter that was on it's side up against a fence - it only had a single 1" drain hole. They had no problem coming and going through the hole. The first lot fledged and then they had a second clutch ... in the same nest, Loved watching them coming and going with beaks stuffed with insects.This is what might happen if your bait hive entrance is too large

Haven't you heard of no Mow May?We haven’t been able to get into the poly tunnel tool shed because we have nesting wagtails. The grass is growing in the orchard
