Asian Hornet Traps

Sorry if this has been asked before but are the hornet traps sold by a well known company killing traps or can everything captured be released live?

I have used.. Only 2 hornets , some bees ? robbers and plenty of wasps. By the time I investigated all dead.. there were no moths, butterflies etc, so I was happy.

Sorry I missed your reply. Does this mean the captured insects could be let out if the trap is inspected in time?

No, 99.9 % wasps dead. and some bees dead too. Didn't gather any other flying insects except the 2 hornets.
