Aplife var gone?

Hi,

Applied Apilife Var 2 weeks ago, opened the hive up last week and it had gone and applied a fresh batch. Opened the hive today and gone again. Lifted the brood box and checked the OMF but no sign of it.

Do the bees chew it and remove it? I thought I was the lift it out after the week.

When I used it the bees used to chew it up and carry bits away
I replaced it weekly though

Some chew it up and carry it out of the hive or drop it through the OMF. Others propolise it up. Some colonies do a mixture (with the same treatment/dose of ALV) and still others will remove one batch and turf out another.
