Title says it all really...

I have 5 hives at my out apiary that have been treated with Apivar strips. All are now fed and strapped down for winter. The Apivar strips have now been on 7 weeks.

Can I leave them on over winter and remove in the spring rather than opening them up again to remove?

No I wouldn't, you can leave them for 10 weeks but again I would unless you had to, mite drop or any varroa related problems..

I'm also 6 weeks two days in at an apiary using apivar and there coming out the next dry day .

No
That’s how resistance develops.
It will take you seconds to lift the strips out
Propolis seals will be reinstated as soon as you tighten those straps

Thanks

I've no problem taking out just if I didn't need to then I would not bother.... Will be off middle of next week

Like I just said earlier ... !! At least on here there is good advice to point people in the right direction!

Follow the instructions and remove as directed, just pick a day when they are flying. Best results I believe come after strips are repositioned mid treatment.
