If an effective treatment is really needed you could get hold of some Apivar or Biowar strips, would need to be in pretty quickly now though.

I walloped them in Autumn and leading upto winter with Ao, so far i nearly got stung for my efforts when feeding but not so many Varroa.

Someone suggested a while back, that the vapouriser could be lined with aluminium foil which could be discarded after each vaping. Has anyone tried this? I guess you could pre-weigh apibioxal into little packets at home and save a job at the apiary when it might be windy. Not tried myself - still using the vapouriser for cleaning wood!

I use Apibioxal with the foil insert in a varrox. It works fine. I think it will only work with the dish type vaporisers. The posh pressured ones are trickier I believe.
