Quote Not sure I follow you here. For those in the market for a poly nuc and got this (good product) for £22, nothing wrong with that.

True. I just meant a response in previous posts regarding "sale" items being a stock of only a few.
I once bought a product from Amazon Market place. cheap but not too cheap to raise suspicions and 2 days later my account was hacked. I never found out whether they had themselves been hacked or somehow let my details get leaked.

As Maisemore isn't that far from me I tend to buy in quantities over ten to get 10% discount and collect, the last ones I bought I also went for ones with slight damage to get a further discount on top, still wasn't £22.00 but brought it down a lot less than standard list price.

They will not be doing that. I know what the nucs I have cost me..no...not saying on here due to a confidentiality agreement....but there is still a margin at these rates.

Stack 'em high... sell 'em cheap....

I am waiting for B&M to start selling beekeeping equipment!

Polystyrene molds must cost in the order of 10k .... that is a lot of units to be sold before even a 1p profit can be seen when selling to tight fisted beekeepers!

My reply was based on the response from Bates who should know the cost of nucs, but glad to hear it’s not a advert to sell cheap and scarper.

Dan will know exactly what HIS cost and I would not challenge his word on it.

I get a very sharp price, but then the maker knows that...if asked to pay too much...I would just get my own mould made.

If you sell 50k units over 5 years , then £10k is 20p per unit.
