Moved a colony after an A/S to a rural site ....it's temperament has gone downhill rapidly ....any ideas ?

Is it Q+ or Q-? I split my hive last Friday and the Q- part were mad all weekend. They've settled down again now though.

temper can be a problem now with frequent inspections and swarming measures. I woundnt be unduly concerned . Wait until later in the season. to see if you really have an agreesive colony

I had the some result a few years ago when I had to move four hives to a new rural location. There seemed to be plenty of forage, but later found that another beekeeper had a lot of hives nearby. They went from a site with a huge surplus of forage with no competition to intense competition. Had to move them again.
