When I was a youngster living at home it was the same story with mother - do this, do that, have you washed the dishes yet clean your room mow the lawn, where's your keep money, have you been smoking? and so on. But when there was something orrible happening or the the man from the council needed putting in his place - guess who was reminded in no uncertain terms that this was a traditional Welsh household and that I was the head of the family!!

"Wow! Even HWMBO would notice if I acquired 12 hives!"

Yes, delicate one that is....had to tell a host of little white lies to SWMBO and hide the hives in 3 locations. I was issued with instructions to sell the swarms, which I totally ignored

Lol! I'm definitely the underdog here ...... unless the sewer gets blocked, or the car breaks down or there's a nasty wasp in the house

You men make me laugh......you know perfectly well that decision making is exhausting. You would never be able to keep up, day after day, organising the household, paying the bills, saying no to the kids, deciding when to entertain friends, have BBQ, buy the food, do a 7 hour stint at work before doing taxi for said kids. Nah.......far better to bimble along until called upon to do your Tarzan act...always with an 'admiring' audience....to eject the spider, carry the shopping, sort the car, dig the garden.....all jobs that require zero effort but earn you smiles and cuddles. Also, be aware that we always know what is going on....even when we choose to ignore your shenanigans.....the extra hives do not go unnoticed, neither does your hovering by the door to catch the delivery man with his big boxes of beekeepery goodies. Or in my case...yet another delivery from Screwfix....my OH favourite shop! However, it's worth turning a blind eye....just to get the decorating finished.....
Now what was that recipe for vodka honey?

Really? If a Man had written such sexest rubish stereotyping women in that way there would be hell to pay.

Blimey Trem have you been thinking of that answer for a year! Look at the date of the original post! Tee hee :)

Nah....off the cuff when perusing the forum....he he ....you new age guys are sooooo sensitive....Men and women will never be equal. Each thinks the other has the best deal!

What a shame you have to go through life juggling who has the best deal.
Isn't it a partnership? You do stuff the other can't do and do other stuff together.
Sigh.......................

Simple, man provides and women look's after the house, if she feels she has time to work as well good on her :sifone:

Do you know, having had a very demanding and soul sapping career, being widowed early in my marriage and raising a child on my own (OK mum helped) I have often thought I might have liked to have lived on such a provision and had lots of children; but then the grass is always greener, they say.

If shelves need putting up......I do it.

I find it of no interest when somebody decides the walls/doors ought to be a different colour. They want it, they can do it.
My wife doesnt know how to change brake pads and I dont want to know how the washing machine works.
